FACHDENTAL Südwest opened a new platform for the first time this year, thereby addressing a pain point in society: sustainability. With the idea of "Green Lab" this topic was placed in the center and the trade fair audience was asked to deal with climate and environmental protection as well as the careful use of resources - in the spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility. Their success proves them right - the "Green Lab" was fully booked by the exhibitors and recorded a high frequency of visitors. This shows how relevant this topic is in the dental sector.

Digital solutions, new technologies, innovative and resource-saving products as well as sustainable materials were presented on the sustainability platform of FACHDENTAL Südwest. The portfolio was supplemented with best-practice presentations that provided practical tips and inspiration for everyday work.

FACHDENTAL Südwest this year was also shaped by current crises, which always present new challenges for laboratory owners and decision-makers. Discussions with trade fair visitors have shown how necessary new solutions are in order to remain competitive.

We were particularly pleased that we were able to provide various solutions to these challenges. In particular with our digital partial framework (RPD), the dental polishing machine DLyte and our material portfolio, which includes a wide range of FAB Zirconia made in Germany for in-house zirconia production in the dental laboratory.

We took the opportunity to show the trade fair audience that high-quality zirconia "Made in Germany" is also available at fair conditions and that processes, for example in the production of partial dentures, can be optimized through the use of machines and systems. With the help of a DLyte polishing system, laboratories have the opportunity to compensate for the lack of skilled workers, to work in a resource-saving manner and to give their employees the opportunity to concentrate on more value-adding activities.
