Zirconia - also known as zirconium or zirconium oxide / zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) - is the modern, aesthetic material for all-ceramic crowns, inlays, bars or bridges with up to 16 elements. Due to its wide variety of materials, dentures made of zirconium oxide enable the best results in all areas of prosthetics.
Zirconia in dental technology has a future.
CADdent offers a particularly large variety of materials in zirconium oxides, laboratories always have access to the latest technology, without their own storage costs. Among the current materials is the particularly aesthetic, highly translucent multilayer Zirkon Ivoclar IPS e.max® ZirCAD Prime or the FAB Zirconia 3D, which is characterized by its particularly
wide range of uses - from the coping to the natural-looking full zirconium crown.
Since the CTE value of e.max ZirCAD Prime and FAB Zirconia 3D is the same as that of other zirconia, the veneering ceramic does not have to be changed. The material is available in the 16 Vita colors, but in addition to the color gradation, it also convinces with the hardness gradation. Depending on how the design for milling is placed in the blank, degrees of hardness of up to 650 MPa in the incisal area or 1200 MPa in the dentine area can be achieved.
CADdent's know-how includes placing the design in the blank in such a way that the optimal combination of stability and aesthetics is achieved. In this way we can produce restorations with a span of up to 16 units.
