Quality, variety and professional exchange

Like most of the participants, we were impressed by the variety and quality of the products and services presented as well as the ample opportunities for professional exchange and further training. In particular, the Dental Technology Association's Congress of Expertise offered valuable insights into implant prosthetics.

The event received consistently positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors and will therefore be continued in 2026. The wide-ranging congress program, consisting of over 60 lectures and workshops, met with great approval.

Innovative topics and successful contributions

The presentation hold by our Product Manager - Dr. Christoph Lauer - on the topic "About hard and soft zirconia - an entertaining look from a materials science perspective" focused on zirconium oxide, which is now the gold standard in dental technology. With its high strength, optically tooth-like properties and wide range of indications, it has become indispensable in modern dental technology. This lecture shed light on this all-rounder from a slightly different perspective - namely from that of materials science. Common misunderstandings were also uncovered and advertising claims were put in the right light.

The lecture was well attended and also received a consistently positive response, which of course makes us particularly happy.

In addition, three more topics were presented: "Modern technologies between fascination and reality", "Personnel - the new gold: instruments for qualification and motivation" and "Safe and sustainable - the economic risk and quality culture for the dental laboratory". These focused on commercial and business management aspects. The audience found it particularly valuable to learn that the use of modern technologies and optimized personnel strategies can significantly increase efficiency and sustainability in dental laboratories. And we at CADdent were also able to take away one or two ideas for our daily work.

An outlook for the future

We, as well as other exhibitors, are extremely satisfied and the event also received high praise from the visitors. The "Education Day for Trainees" proved to be particularly successful with a program adapted for trainees on topics relevant to their education and sold-out tickets and will therefore be held again in the future.

We are already looking forward to the next Zahntechnik plus, which will take place on March 6th and 7th, 2026 at the Congress Center in Leipzig.
